Obsessively Sherlock...god help me

I don’t want to spam people, so I’ll come back later and respond to so many thoughtful replies. Thank you all, though, for lifting my spirits and helping me see the control I do have. Which is always, always my own behavior and choices.

I dislike that part, too. Do my best to avoid it of course, but it still sneaks in sometimes. Let me know if you move back to LJ or go somewhere else, yeah? I like keeping in touch with you. :)

I’m not leaving, although I’ll probably spend more time on LJ now. I’m reducing my follows by a lot here. I’m jomk on LJ by the way. And I’ll stick around with my leaner tumblr experience. I like keeping in touch with you, as well. :)

Isnt that problem bloody everywhere though? I wish it wasnt, but it used to happen in slow motion in fanzines; its just speeded up now.

You’re right, of course. It’s my sensibilities that have changed. I don’t begrudge the conversations. In fact, I’ve been enlightened about many things as a result of some very heated talks. Although there’s no excuse for attacks, full stop. I don’t have the patience I once had, though. I’ve worked so hard to finally find a modicum of peace in my life, and I’ll go to some lengths to protect it. What I will do is cull the list again. That’s very difficult, but necessary.  Thanks for the dash of perspective.

I’m beginning to think tumblr isn’t for me. I think maybe I’m too old. I can’t seem to get over the righteous indignation that turns into vitriol instead of earnest and respectful dialog. I really do love the pretty pictures though.  I don’t know.

I bought my ticket for the first showing of Star Trek tomorrow! Also got my 3D glasses, picked the perfect seat and my best friend is joining me! I’m beyond excited about this whole enterprise.

Apologies for my outburst re: tags and spoilers. I know things don’t always go the way they should on tumblr. I mess it up constantly.  I take my chances coming here, and I could have handled that better.

Well, fuck people. ST isn’t even out yet, and I was just spoiled DAYS AWAY FROM SEEING THE MOVIE because people don’t TAG THEIR FUCKING SPOILERS!
